Tomorrow is my last day here at Truco. It's sad to think about not working with Bethany (and Anna!) anymore, but I try not to think about it. I have a lot of peace and excitment as I start this new chapter in my life. Selling Premier jewelry will be my fulltime job as I go back to school! Last night I took the final for my History class at NCTC and next monday I start a mini holiday class. I am taking Government, one of the most boring subjects in my opinion. However, it will be nice to get it done in only 2 1/2 weeks.
I have run out of time to do Christmas cards this year. :-( Oh well, at least we have a little christmas tree up and 2 stockings on the mantel! I will post pictures of our home soon. After this week I should have a lot more time on my hands. Hopefully.
My darling nephew Pacer Sanderson was born Monday morning at 8:58am! It was so cool getting to be at his birth. Such a special memory that I will never forget. Janae was so brave and did it all natural. I am so proud of her! Pacer is the most adorable, sweet and happy little baby! (not that I'm partial or anything)
Before I go, here are two pictures of us in NM on Thanksgiving. Thank you Uncle Walt!

Update
I thought October was busy……November even more so! We had 5 jewelry parties, bought a house, moved, got sick, attended a Coldplay concert and then went to New Mexico for Thanksgiving!! Somehow, we survived.
We closed on our lovely home in Highland Village on November 14th and moved the following weekend. We are SO excited to be home owners. It’s really strange to have a huge house to ourselves. Our first night at the house was the coldest night in TX this year and our heater wasn’t working! Then the following night we thought it had been fixed and come to find out it still wasn’t working and we didn’t have heat or hot water. It was a luxury to get up and drive to work the next morning in my heated car. We are slowly unpacking boxes and getting settled in. I have no less than 5 candles burning through out the house when we are there to get rid of the “old lady” smell. We are truly thankful for all the blessings God has given us. We never dreamed we would find a house and move so fast! It had to be God’s providential plan for all the details and timing to work out so smoothly.
We celebrated Thanksgiving in Red River, NM with my aunt & uncle at their cabin. It was so much fun and we enjoyed the beautiful snow on Thanksgiving Day! That night we went downtown to the Christmas tree lighting with the locals and sang Christmas songs and looked at all the pretty lights. I just love that little town, it reminded us of “Bedford Falls” on It’s a Wonderful Life.
Here are a few pictures.

Change......
My, how fast things change in just a month or two. I have started another part time job (for now!) selling Premier Designs Jewelry. LOVE IT, LOVE IT. It is so much fun and doesn’t feel like work at all. I am taking one history class at NCTC to get back into the groove of college. I have decided to finish my degree so I can teach Kindergarten! Also, we are officially house shopping now and have high hopes of buying a home in Highland Village.
This month we have attended a very fun costume\birthday party at Clint & Mischele’s house (pictures posted below) and we also took an amazing weekend trip to Hardy, AR with all my family. I will post some pictures of our trip as well.
Two Halloween parties tomorrow! YAH! The first one will be at work where Bethany and I will be dressing up together! (Unless she bails on me to close on her house) The second party will be at Papaw and Mamaw’s tomorrow night with all the grandkids. Who are grown up by the way! I love dressing up and eating candy. It is way too much fun!

Wisconsin
We are going to Green Bay, WI this weekend with Bethany and Caleb. I am the most excited about the harvest festival in Cedurburg we are going to Saturday! The website said we will be enjoying...... "Farmer's Markets, Live Music, Scarecrow Contest, Grape Stomp Contest, Apple Bobbing Contest, Grape Spitting Contest, Grilled foods, and food courts, Arts On The Avenue, Pumpkin Carver, Hayrides, Kids Korner, and much more."
Sounds amazing, right?!?!??!
The boys are obviously the most excited about the dallas cowboys playing at greenbay sunday night. :-) That will be fun too.
Pictures to come soon!

Happy 7th Birthday Jesse Lee
It's hard to believe we are in August already! In just a few weeks Jacob will be back at school teaching. I really hope one of these days I will get to enjoy the summer off with him! In the mean time, I am thankful for where God has me.
We are counting down the days till we go to Florida to see Trey & Rachael! Only 7 more days. I am anxious to be on the beach again!
Last weekend we celebrated Jesse's birthday at the water park. He is such a little angel. Well, not always....... but most of the time. :-)

Morning Meditations by John Piper
Do everything in the name of Jesus.
"Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus." Colossians 3:17
"The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, 'Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!'" Luke 10:17
Do everything with a sense of dependence on the power and authority of the Lord Jesus. Do everything with a view to Jesus being honored in it. Do everything with a view to others being helped by Jesus in it.
Can Jesus be more pervasive than this in our lives - that we do everything in His name?
